How it connects
Some groups keep a handful of small euro accounts outside their main banks: a project account, a site office, a team card. Headroom reads N26 Business accounts through Open Banking account-information access, with consent approved by the account holder on the bank’s own screen. Balances and transactions refresh every four hours and appear as their own lines under the right entity, so even an account holding €18,402 is part of the group position.
These accounts rarely hold much, but they are often the ones nobody checks until a payment fails. Each one can carry its own minimum, and the alert engine treats it like any other line. If the consent lapses, the account is marked stale with the date of its last update, and its balance is left out of alerts that would otherwise fire on out-of-date data. An account that has not moved in ninety days is listed separately, so it can be closed or kept on purpose.
