Plain terms, for reading this site.

The terms that apply when you use this website and its content.

Example text for the Headroom template. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before you publish.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website (the “Site”), operated by Headroom Labs Ltd (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Questions about these terms can be sent to us using the contact details on our Contact page.

2. The Site and the product

The Site describes the Headroom cash-forecasting product. Using the product itself requires a separate agreement with us (an order form and a master subscription agreement). If there is a conflict between these terms and that agreement, the agreement prevails for the product.

Nothing on the Site is an offer capable of acceptance; plans, features and prices shown are descriptions that may change.

3. Demos, trials and requests

When you book a demo, request a pilot or contact sales, you agree to provide accurate information. A demo or a pilot gives you no right to use the product in production.

We may decline or end a pilot at any time, and we will delete any data connected for it within thirty days of the end of the pilot unless you ask us to keep it.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Site to break the law, to attempt unauthorised access to our systems or those of others, to scrape or copy it at scale, to introduce malicious code, to interfere with its operation, or to misrepresent your identity or your connection with us.

We may suspend access to the Site if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

5. Intellectual property

The Site, its text, graphics, code, icons, data visualisations and the Headroom name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the Site and print or share pages for your own business purposes. You may not copy, adapt or republish it commercially without our written permission.

Other companies’ names and logos on the Site belong to their owners and appear only to identify the systems Headroom can read from; they do not imply partnership or endorsement.

6. Information on the Site

We take care to keep the Site accurate, but it is provided for general information. Forecast charts, figures, amounts and customer stories shown on the Site are illustrations and do not describe a guaranteed result.

Nothing on the Site is financial, tax or legal advice, and you should take advice before acting on it.

7. Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party sites, such as a booking calendar or a payment page. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

You use them at your own risk and under their own terms.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of or reliance on the Site, including indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to £100. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”.

9. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms and the Site at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.

Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, although you may also have rights in your own country.

For anything related to these terms, write to us using the contact details on our Contact page.
