How it connects
Headroom collects Commerzbank statements through EBICS, the secure channel most German corporates already use, and parses them as CAMT.053. You enrol the Headroom key pair with the bank once, through an authorised signatory, and the previous day’s statements are collected every morning at 06:00 CET. For Orvane GmbH, that means a euro account holding €6,214,380 and a dollar account holding $1,082,400 sit in the consolidated position before the treasury team opens its first report.
Bookings are classified against your category tree: payroll, VAT, suppliers, intercompany, financing. The first thirty days teach the model your calendar, so a quarterly VAT payment of €742,380 appears in the forecast before the bank has seen it. Nothing moves on the bank side. Headroom reads, forecasts and proposes, and your bank portal still executes every payment under the signatures your bank already knows. Bank charges are read as their own lines, so fees never hide inside a supplier total.
