How it connects

For groups that bank with HSBC in several regions, Headroom connects via the SWIFT connectivity your treasury already uses. Intraday balances arrive as MT942 messages every fifteen minutes and end-of-day statements as MT940, and each account is read as its own line: entity, country, currency, ledger and available balance. Orvane’s €1,408,212 in Paris, $2,310,775 in New York and £612,040 in London end up in one position, each with its own cut-off time.

Statement lines are tagged as they come in, so the forecast learns that the London payroll lands on the 28th and that the US supplier run clears on a Thursday. A payment released after a cut-off is shown as booked the next business day, and the forecast moves the cash with it. You see what is certain, what is expected and how wide the range is, without logging in to the bank portal.
