How it connects
Headroom reads Barclays business accounts through Open Banking account-information access. An authorised signatory of Orvane Ltd grants consent once, on the bank’s own screen, and Headroom never sees their credentials. The connection renews on the schedule the regulation sets, and balances and transactions refresh every hour, which is often enough for a sterling account that sees a few hundred movements a day. The operating account’s £384,910 is converted at the fixing you chose and rolls into the group total.
A minimum balance rule on the account, such as £250,000 on the main operating line, feeds the alert engine without any extra set-up. Direct-debit collections, Faster Payments and CHAPS movements are labelled differently, so the forecast knows which ones settle the same day and which ones need a night. Fourteen days before the consent expires, its owner gets a reminder. Card settlements from the same account are grouped by day, so they read as one steady outflow rather than as hundreds of small lines.
