Headroom connects to Stripe with a restricted, read-only key and listens to its webhooks, so payouts and balance changes reach the forecast as they happen. Each payout is shown twice: as an expected receipt on its arrival date and, once your bank reports it, as a matched line on the account. A payout of €182,400 due on Thursday sits in the right week of the cone before the bank has seen it.

Fees, refunds and disputes are kept on their own lines rather than netted silently, so the gap between gross sales and what reaches the bank is visible. Balances held in several currencies stay in their own currency until paid out. Headroom never creates a charge, a refund or a payout: it reads what Stripe reports and matches it to your bank. Payouts that land in a different bank account from the usual one are flagged for review before they are matched.
