How it connects
Headroom posts to Slack through an app you add to your own workspace. Each alert rule can name a channel, such as #treasury-alerts, and the message reads like the rule that fired: “Wise · EUR · €261,032 · below €300k minimum, in 3 days.” Quiet hours and escalation follow the person notified, so a team in Warsaw is not woken by a threshold crossed in New York. Each rule shows the channel it posts to.
Approval requests arrive the same way, with the payee, the amount and who prepared the run. The approval itself happens in Headroom, where the second signature is recorded with its time and device, so a chat message can never stand in for a signature. Headroom only posts to the channels you pick; it does not read messages, and removing the app stops every notification at once. Each post records its time, so the alert history matches the channel.
