How it connects
For teams that live in their inbox, Headroom sends alerts, approval requests and the daily digest by email, formatted to read well in Gmail on a laptop or a phone. Each message carries the rule that fired, the account, the amount and the date it affects, and a link that opens the exact view in Headroom. The morning digest arrives at 07:30 in each person’s own time zone, with the group position and the alerts that did not need an immediate answer.
Approvals are never given by replying to an email. The link opens the payment run in Headroom, where the approver signs with their own login and the signature is recorded. Each person chooses which alerts reach them by email and which go to Slack, and an administrator can see who receives what. Every email Headroom sends is listed in the alert history with its recipients and its time, so a missed alert can be traced. Unsubscribing from one rule never stops the others.
Set-up in three steps
