How it connects
Headroom reads Odoo Accounting through its external API, with an API key tied to a user who only has read rights. Customer invoices, vendor bills and their due dates are read every hour and become expected movements in the forecast. Each Odoo company maps to a Headroom entity, so a group running its Polish operation, Orvane Sp. z o.o., on Odoo keeps its ledger in zloty and still sees it in the group total.
This connection is in beta. Single-company databases work as described; multi-company databases are read, but intercompany invoices still need a manual check on the mapping screen. Custom fields added during your Odoo set-up are ignored for now. The beta label stays on this page until both points are closed, and the connection page lists what has changed since the last release. In the meantime, the review list shows every intercompany line the mapping could not place, with a short reason.
Set-up in three steps
01
Create an API key for a read-only Odoo user
02
Enter the database URL and key in Settings, ERP
03
Check intercompany lines on the mapping screen
