v4.7
Bridge
Consolidated view in the currency you report in
Choose a reporting currency and a fixing, and every total, chart and bridge follows.
The consolidated position can now be shown in any currency you hold, and not only in the one chosen at set-up. Switch to dollars for a call with the US parent, back to euros for the local board, and every total, chart, bridge and alert threshold converts at the fixing you selected.
Fixings come from a rate source you pick: the daily reference rate, the rate of your main bank or a rate you type in. The source and the time of the rate appear next to the total, for example “ECB reference rate, 16 Oct, 14:15 CET”.
Account balances are always stored in their own currency. Changing the view never changes the data, so a switch cannot create a rounding error that someone later has to explain.
